Emergency Storm Relief

No one can really do anything about the weather. Mother Nature has us at her mercy. However, we’re getting a lot better at reacting to the havoc that severe weather can hurl at us.

That’s where J.W. Didado Electric excels!

We have two distinct groups within the organization that have handled almost any type of severe weather than can be blown our way. Through Didado Utilities Company, or DUC, our High Voltage group has worked with many large utility companies from Pennsylvania and New Jersey right down the Eastern Seaboard and westward to Texas and all the states that touch the Gulf of Mexico. That group has been involved with reconstruction activities spawned by hurricanes, snow storms, ice storms, floods and tornadoes – with speed and efficiency – bringing vital electrical services back to normal for millions of people.

Our other division that is actively involved in emergency storm relief is the Inside group.

While the High Voltage group works with the utility companies, the Inside group focuses on buildings, residences, hospitals and community centers.

Each group works with efficiency, but realizes that they are dealing with human beings who may have lost lives or homes, and certainly have lost critical services. That compassion was evident in our work during recent hurricanes in Florida and the Gulf Coast – especially working with federal and local contractors in Gulfport, Mississippi and Beaumont, Texas. Our emergency storm team – J.W. Didado Electric and Didado Utility Company – is available to assemble full crews and begin work within 72 hours.

Didado Utility Company is proud of its heritage and workmanship that enables us to take our customers’ work from concept to completion quickly and cost effectively.
